This is one of a small group of vintage Colt 2nd Issue Detective Special revolvers. (YES! All are Curio and Relic qualified and we accept a C&R for shipment!) All are Cal .38 Spl. Colt, 2″ barrel, originally blued but these guns have no finish on them as shown, perfect working condition, cosmetic condition and finish as shown in photo. These guns are “Shooter Grade” guns that are in perfect working condition with no original finish (can be reblued or refinished if the owner wishes, and have been fitted with new Hogue neoprene grips for sure handling.
For the same price as an off-brand import you can own a genuine Colt revolver made during the golden years of production.
