1903 Springfield rifle, WWII Conversion, SN 984637

Description

This is an original 1903 Springfield rifle, caliber 30/06, produced in 1918 based on its serial number 984,637. Was later upgraded for service in World War II with a “C” stock and 5-42 dated barrel with S.A. and Ordnance bomb as shown. Gun is in good-VG condition, with original finish, stock cartouches and inspection marks, also shows a brass-pin period field repair to the stock Bore is in very good condition, bright and shiny, no wear or pitting. A very nice, honest original gun, with no import marks.
