Well made, Vintage British Side by Side, By Midland Gun Company. Numbers Matching, Full side lock with extractors and dual triggers. Prince of Wales round knob stock, Splinter Forend, finely hand-checkered Walnut stock, with engravable disc, and original hard plastic grooved buttplate.
Wonderful Patina typical of an older gun, shows detailed hand engraving, including screws, with original case hardening evident on side plates.
14 1/4” LOP, 30” barrel, 46 3/4 inches overall length, Fully Proofed, Nitro Steel Barrels, 2 1/2 inch Chamber, marked Midland Gun Co. Birmingham & London on rib with single brass bead.
