This is one of a small group of vintage Colt 3rd Issue Detective Special revolvers. All are Cal .38 Spl. Colt, 2″ barrel, blued, original grips, perfect working condition, cosmetic condition and finish as shown in photos, complete with all original parts. Third Issue manufacture, serial number indicates a 1972 date of manufacture. As this gun is 50+ years old it qualifies as a curio and relic and can be shipped to an 03 C&R license.
