This is one of a small group of vintage Colt 3rd Issue Detective Special revolvers. All are Cal .38 Spl. Colt, 2″ barrel, blued, has replacement Pachmyer-type grips, perfect working condition, cosmetic condition and finish as shown in photos, complete with all original parts. Third Issue manufacture, serial number indicates a 1973 date of manufacture. As this gun is 50+ years old it qualifies as a curio and relic and can be shipped to an 03 C&R license.
