OWS has made a purchase of a large group of vintage sporting guns from Europe and will be listing all items on this website. This is a West German made J.P. Sauer & Sohn 16ga side by side boxG lock shotgun, in good-VG condition, perfect working condition. Photos are of the actual gun so you can see its exact condition. Gun features a pistol grip stock with engraved steel grip cap, checkered at the wrist and forend, nicely figured wood with factory original buttplate, hand-engraved receiver, trigger guard and Deely forend release, Greener style Birdhead locking system, extractors, 14” length of pull, 28″ barrels and 43.5” overall length. A very nice example of a classic German side by side shotgun.
