Mauser K98 K Original German WWII BYF 44 Matching Band, TG, floorplate

Description

This is an all-original World War II German K98 K rifle, BYF 44 marked,  in overall good condition.  Metal retains approximately 35%-40% original finish, has original Waffen marks on the barrel, receiver, trigger guard and rear sight base.  The front sight has original shroud, rear sight is 100-2000 meter gradients, trigger guard and floorplate are stamped, floorplate numbered to the gun as well as Waffen marked.   Buttplate is stamped and marked as shown.  Barrel shows advance pitting with very little rifling, dark bore, does not have original cleaning rod.   Serial number of gun is 57558.  Cal. 8mm Mauser.

Stock is in good condition with no visible cracks.
