Description
This is a Walther Sportmodell V, a bolt-action rifle manufactured at the Walther factory at Zella Mehlis in the early 1930’s. It is chambered in 22 LR, and was commonly used as a training rifle for German youth and para-military groups, and were often brought home by American Gi’s after the war. This example features a 25-inch threaded barrel and a walnut stock. .
